Ghanaian Cultural Band “Osibisam” will be performing in 10 States in the United States of America from the 2nd of June to October 2023.
The band which was invited by AFROMONDO Productions will be touring New York and Philadelphia, California among others, with the anticipation of delivering excellent African traditional music with new energy and fun.
The group name “OSIBISAM” which means “The African presentation and its sound,” was formed in Cape Coast in 2019 to foster African rhythms and melodies by eschewing Western instruments in favor of indigenous African instruments such as the Atentaben, xylophone, Jembe, talking drums, Sepriwa, Dewulta, among others.
Their first album which comprises 10 songs includes Oman Ghana, Peace, Green Land, Kejetia, Ye Be Shi, Welcome to Ghana, and No place Like home among others.
Some of the songs on their second album are We are Africans, No War, Funky Dance, etc.
The 20-member cultural band has played on many stages in Ghana and Morocco among others.
